Our vet told us to serve our Boston Terrier, age 11, a low sodium diet because he has heart worms. Pedigree is the brand she recommended but we cannot find anything that says low sodium, can you advise?

Dog is very fit and food is quality

Have a 12-year-old, 55-pound coon hound who is very active. He's been on Pedigree canned food most of his life. He had a stomach perforation from dry food as a youngster from what the vet said was dry food swelling once it got in the stomach. Canned food costs more but it's safer for certain breeds. If your dog vomits dry food and you see how the pieces have changed in size you know what I mean. By estimation I've bought over 7000 cans in 10 years and have had 1 can to throw out because it had gone bad. Even cans dented in shipping have been fine. The cans are the higher quality one-piece seamless type with pull top lids. Dents are less likely to let the food inside go bad. That's fantastic quality control. As I said before the dog is 55 pounds. He gets 2 cans a day as part of a diet that includes table scraps and milk bone type treats. He gets regular trips to the vet and she always compliments him on his fitness, even for an older dog. We don't over feed him. His teeth are clean and cavity free because he never gets anything sugary. Don't give your dogs ice cream or other junk and your animal won't have dental problems. Giving the animal good food in reasonable amount is optimal for your animal's well being. Look at the fitness chart on the wall at your vet's office and follow it. He's my fourth dog in 50 years so I speak from experience.

Damaged cans

Too many dented cans, of which 3 of 12 had to be discarded due to severely damaged cans. This is the second time this has happened. Otherwise, a good product. However, I'm unsure if I'll purchase canned food from Chewy again.

Thankful I could find it !

With the stores experiencing difficulty obtaining canned dog food I was thankful to find this brand and flavor for my girls. They are quite picky when it comes to trying different brands and it will upset their bellies. It would be nice if a case would come with assorted flavors but we'll make due. Thanks Chewy !

Pedigree Choice Cuts Country Stew

My dogs think it's "people food" when I heat it slightly and mix it in their kibbles! My only suggestion to Pedigree is add more peas & carrots, please! It's "stew" and my dogs aren't thrilled with vegetables I add on top, but they eat the vegetables in this Country Stew - I never find even one pea spit out on the floor!
